Mairbek Taisumov BERLIN – The ringside doctor appeared to want to stop Maribek Taisumov from fighting on after an eye-poke from Alan Patrick , but Taisumov fought on and found victory after scoring a big head kick. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 69 event at O2 World Berlin in Germany’s capital city. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass. Patrick (12-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) opened up the fight with a leg kick and then followed up with a takedown but was stuffed on the attempt. Taisumov (24-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC) was caught with a thumb in the eye, leading to a brief pause in the action
