KSW announces ‘World’s Strongest Fight’ with Mariusz Pudzianowski vs. Eddie Hall on April 26

KSW is running another unique matchup involving Mariusz Pudzianowski , this time against fellow strong man Eddie Hall . The promotion announced Friday that former World’s Strongest Man winner Pudzianowski (17-9) will compete for the first time since June 2023 when he takes on Hall (0-0), who makes his MMA debut, in a super heavyweight showdown the promotion has dubbed “The World’s Strongest Fight.” The matchup will takes place at KSW 105 on April 26 at Prezero Arena in Gliwice, Poland, and streams via online pay-per-view.

Mariusz Pudzianowski is still going strong. The 46-year-old heavyweight and former strongman, had his final faceoff, as he returns to the cage against Artur Szpilka this Saturday on the main card of KSW 83. The event is set to go down at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland. Both Pudzianowski (17-8 MMA, 17-7 KSW) and Szpilka (2-0 MMA, 1-0 KSW) had a tense and cold faceoff at the weigh-ins on Friday afternoon. Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-7) took out Michal Materla (31-9) in the first round with a nasty knockout that stemmed from a right uppercut. A follow-up shot on the canvas was academic, and may have contributed to an extended time on the canvas for Materla, who needed several minutes before he was back to his feet.
