After his unanimous decision victory over Michel Quinones (8-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 120, words like “amazing” and “blessing” came tripping off Northcutt’s tongue, which is hardly a surprise for the youthful and exuberant young fighter. But if you ask Northcutt (9-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC), the real difference in his life now as opposed to when he made his UFC debut may be one of focus. As he was quick to point out after his victory at Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va., on Saturday night, when fans got their first look at him he was still splitting his time between training and school.

Will Sage Northcutt finally fight in 2017 at November’s UFC Fight Night 120? That’s the plan as of right now. ESPN.com reported today that Northcutt (8-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has been booked to face Michel Quinones (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC)in a lightweight bout on Nov. 11 at UFC Fight Night 120. The event takes place at Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va., and airs on FS1.

Rashad Coulter vs. Chase Sherman heavyweight bout moves up to UFC 211 prelims on FX

The preliminary card for Saturday’s UFC 211 event in Texas has (hopefully) finished shuffling, and the lineup once again is complete. Earlier today, the featherweight fight between Jared Gordon (12-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Michel Quinones (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) on the FX-broadcast prelims was scrapped after Gordon had to be hospitalized with food poisoning symptoms , leaving a gap in that portion of the card. Chase Sherman Now a heavyweight bout from the UFC Fight Pass prelims has been elevated to FX. Dallas native and LFA veteran Rashad Coulter (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will make his octagon debut against Chase Sherman (9-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) on TV now instead of an online stream.

As has become a recent tradition, a UFC card has lost a fight on the eve of the event. UFC featherweight newcomer Jared Gordon (12-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) today announced he’s been forced out of his UFC 211 preliminary-card bout with Michel Quinones (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) after being hospitalized. UFC 211 takes place Saturday at American Airlines Center in Dallas, and the main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and UFC Fight Pass. Gordon vs. Quinones was initially slated for the UFC Fight Pass portion of the card but was promoted to the FX prelims earlier this week

The UFC announced today that Gordon will make his promotional debut at UFC 211 when he faces Michel Quinones . UFC 211 takes place May 13 at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Related UFC 211 lineup set for twin title fights in promotion's return to Dallas Gordon, who will enter the octagon riding a three-fight win streak, was featured on “Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight” and impressed the UFC boss with a decision win over Bill Algeo. Gordon, 28, has finished seven of his 13 bouts, with his only loss coming in 2015 as the result of a doctor stoppage

She’ll be replaced by Gina Mazany (4-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who will make her official promotional debut
