Cage Warriors returns to action a month from now in England, and the lineup for the card is starting to take shape. In the Cage Warriors 78 main event, lightweight champion Chris Fishgold (15-1-1) will put his title on the line against France’s Jason Ponet (16-10-1). The London-based promotion today announced the card’s main event, as well as four other fights.

Stevie Ray DUBLIN – Stevie Ray controlled the distance and kept the fight where he wanted it against Mickael Lebout . For that, Ray (19-5 MMA, 3-0 UFC) was rewarded with a unanimous decision victory (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) after three-round stand-up battle with a game Lebout (14-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC), who took Ray’s best shots, but wasn’t able to deliver enough of his own in return. The lightweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 76 event at 3Arena in Dublin. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

Teemu Packalen (7-0 MMA, 0-0) will step in for the lightweight bout and face Lebout on short-notice. The change was announced on the UFC UK Twitter account.
