Cage Warriors returns to action a month from now in England, and the lineup for the card is starting to take shape. In the Cage Warriors 78 main event, lightweight champion Chris Fishgold (15-1-1) will put his title on the line against France’s Jason Ponet (16-10-1). The London-based promotion today announced the card’s main event, as well as four other fights.

Champ Nicolas Dalby meets Mohsen Bahari in Cage Warriors 74′s main event

Welterweight champion Nicolas Dalby (12-0) will put his belt on the line against Mohsen Bahari (8-1) in Cage Warriors 74’s main event, officials recently announced. Cage Warriors 74 takes place Nov. 15 at Copper Box Arena in London’s Olympic Park. The main card streams on MMAjunkie following prelims on Cage Warriors’ Facebook page. Dalby, an undefeated 29-year-old Danish fighter who won the belt with a March victory over Sergei Churilov, was supposed to defend his title for the first time this past weekend at Cage Warriors 72

Cage Warriors locks up several standouts with new contracts

Cage Warriors has locked up several of its best fighters with new contracts, the promotion announced. Nicolas Dalby , Danny Roberts , Mohsen Bahari , Bruno “B.C.” Carvalho, Dave Hill , Alex Enlund and Ronnie Mann all have new deals with the England-based company. The deals are for an additional five fights after their current deals expire. “To have seven fighters of this caliber renewing their commitment to Cage Warriors tells its own story,” Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan stated.

June’s Cage Warriors 69 to feature two main cards, two title fights in London

Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is going all in for its June event in London. The promotion on Tuesday announced that Cage Warriors 69 will be christened “Super Saturday” and will feature two main cards. Then the England-based promotion will take a hiatus of more than two months while soccer’s World Cup plays out. Cage Warriors 69 is set for June 7 at The Forum in London, and already announced for the card was a fight for the vacant lightweight title between Curt Warburton (13-4) and Stevie Ray (14-5). Cage Warriors makes debut in Denmark with Cage Warriors 66 in March

For the first time, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship will touch down in Scandinavia this spring. Cage Warriors 66, which will be the England-based promotion’s third event of 2014, will take place next month in Denmark. Promotion officials made the announcement on Tuesday.
