It hasn’t been a feeling that Frankie Edgar has been thrilled to relive, but it’s been one he’s felt before. And it’s certainly not one he has wanted to get used to – though like it or not, he probably has at this point. Edgar’s past three fights, all title bouts, have resulted in relatively close decisions – all three going against him, and all three fights that have been argued by some as fights he may have done enough to win. He lost his lightweight title to Benson Henderson at UFC 144 in February 2012. It was a unanimous nod in Henderson’s favor, but many observers, including some major MMA media outlets, scored the fight for Edgar

For someone who was in a fight that a lot of observers thought was lackluster due to an opponent who didn’t want to engage that much, Bibiano Fernandes was highly complimentary. But that’s his style: no regrets. Fernandes (14-3) this past month won ONE FC’s interim bantamweight title with a five-round unanimous decision victory over Koetsu Okazaki (8-3-1) at ONE FC 9 in the Philippines. But Fernandes said his opponent’s “sneaky” nature may have led to the way the bout played out over 25 minutes. “It was a very good fight,” Fernandes told MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio). “He tried to move around and come forward to punch, but I went in there and did my best.
