UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey does not believe for one second that her upcoming acting roles will distract her from focusing on her fighting career. But Rousey admits she thinks the clock could be ticking on her time in the cage. “I said from the beginning that I wok in quadrennials,” Rousey told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). “I do four-year cycles. I think I’ve got two years left in me, realistically, if I’m going to do this like an Olympic run.” Rousey (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has fought just once for the UFC, but she’s become a full-fledged superstar for the company. She was recently in Seattle as the face of the partnership between the UFC and the promotion’s official wireless provider, MetroPCS. EA Sports at E3 on Monday officially announced that EA Sports UFC would launch for both Xbox One and Playstation 4 in Spring 2014. Super Fight League is back in action on Friday June 7th, 2013 for another action packed Friday Fight Nights event. SFL 19 will feature a heavyweight showdown for the ages in the Main Event as 25-year-old K-1 fighter Jaideep Singh goes to battle against 33-year old Alireza Tavakoli of Iran. Singh, a native of India, will be making his MMA debut for Super Fight League but comes into the event with a strong kickboxing background amassing a record of 40-16-1 and was both K-1 2009 World Grand Prix in Seoul Champion as well as 2011 RISE Heavyweight Tournament Champion. SFL’s Chairman Raj Kundra said, “This year is off to am amazing start, from our partnership with Mountain Dew to the STAR Sports broadcast deal. Jon Fitch’s WSOF contract allows for fights in outside organizations

While Jon Fitch (24-5-1) said he’s thoroughly committed to the World Series of Fighting, he has options if the promotion doesn’t keep him busy. The veteran welterweight, who’s scheduled to rematch Josh Burkman (25-9) June 14 at WSOF 3, expects to fulfill a four-fight contract with the promotion within a year. But if there are delays, he could fight for another promoter, perhaps in Asia. “I have it within my contract to fight elsewhere,” Fitch told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). If all goes as planned for WSOF, he may not need to exercise his option. Earlier this year, the promotion inked a three-year partnership with NBC Sports Network, which has aired its two previous events. The deal calls for a minimum of six events annually
