Jorge Masvidal ’s Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA is back with a card featuring more than a dozen former UFC fighters. In the main event, Randy Costa and Brandon Davis rematch, without gloves this time, as they fight for the promotion’s inaugural bantamweight championship. Davis defeated Costa by submission at UFC 236 in April 2019.

Randy Costa thinks his fighting style is a big reason why he’s headlining Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 8. Costa is set to rematch fellow UFC veteran Brandon Davis Friday at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Miss. Davis won their first meeting by submission, which took place under the UFC banner in April 2019. The card features various UFC alums – including the likes of Kevin Lee, Curtis Millender, and Charles Rosa.

Two former UFC fighters known for their brawling styles will take the gloves off for a bareknuckle MMA fight in November. Featherweights Jason Knight and Randy Costa will collide in a featherweight bout Nov. 10 at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Miss., the promotion announced Wednesday. Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA is the promotion of former UFC star Jorge Masvidal . The rules are the same as the unified rules of mixed martial arts – just minus the gloves.

Exciting bantamweights Guido Cannetti and Randy Costa will throw down in October. Cannetti (9-6 MMA, 3-5 UFC) meets Costa (6-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) at a UFC Fight Night event on Oct. 1, which doesn’t yet have a publicly known venue or location at this time. Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. ESPN Deportes was first to report the booking. With his job potentially on the line, Cannetti snapped a three-fight losing skid in his most recent outing when he finished Kris Moutinho in the first round at UFC Fight Night 203 in March

LAS VEGAS – In the second fight of the evening at Saturday’s UFC 269 , Tony Kelley (8-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) turned in a fantastic performance against Randy Costa (6-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC). Knowing that Costa usually comes out of the gates fast, Kelley was ready to meet the challenge head on, as he hoped to secure a first-round finish of his own. Although he couldn’t get it done in the first round, he was happy to settle for a second-round finish which came via TKO stoppage after a barrage of unanswered ground-and-pound strikes. Randy Costa sees positives from Adrian Yanez loss, thinks rematch is inevitable

Randy Costa doesn’t think it’s over with Adrian Yanez. The UFC bantamweight is confident he’ll cross paths again with his former foe sometime in the future. Both Costa (6-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) and Yanez (14-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) recently fought over the summer on the main card of UFC on ESPN 27. In a back-and-forth battle, Costa suffered a second-round TKO loss to Yanez. The defeat snapped a two-fight winning streak for Costa while extending Yanez’s unbeaten run to seven consecutive victories. Costa very much respects Yanez and feels a rematch is bound to happen
