He ultimately ended up on the card, but it wasn’t through any traditional means. Madadi (14-5 MMA, 3-3 UFC), a pro MMA fighter for more than 10 years, specifically requested a spot on Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 109 fight card, which takes place at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm and airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

LONDON – Reza Madadi couldn’t slow down Joseph Duffy , nor could he keep him down on those rare occasions when he got him there. That left Madadi (14-5 MMA, 3-3 UFC) an easy target for Duffy (17-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) on the feet. The result was a one-sided performance that left Madadi battered and bloodied as Duffy cruised to a unanimous-decision victory with a clean sweep on all three judges’ scorecards. The lightweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 107 event at The O2 in London. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

Just £40 ($50 US) will get you in the door for the UFC’s return to London in March. Tickets for UFC Fight Night 107, which does not yet have a main event announced, but already includes some of the U.K.’s top fighting talent, are on sale today. The event takes place March 18 at The O2 in London, and the entire event streams on UFC Fight Pass. Tickets for the card start at £40, and other seating categories cost £60, £80, £105, £135 and £200, not including taxes and fees

The UFC’s return to England continues to build with the addition of four fights for March in London. London’s Jimi Manuwa (16-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) will take on Corey Anderson (9-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) in a light heavyweight bout sure to be near the top of the card. And after rumblings about a contract dispute, Joseph Duffy (16-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is set to return when he meets Reza Madadi (14-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) in a lightweight bout. Plus, a women’s bantamweight fight between Lina Lansberg (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Veronica Macedo (5-1-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been added to the card, as has a heavyweight bout between Daniel Omielanczuk (19-6-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Timothy Johnson (10-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC). UFC officials today announced the matchups for UFC Fight Night 107, which takes place March 18 at The O2 in London. The entire event streams on UFC Fight Pass.
