Matthew Lopez talked to UFC President Dana White after RFA 37 win

Filed under: AXS TV Fights , News , Videos Undefeated RFA bantamweight Matthew Lopez picked up another victory when he forced Eli Finn to tap to strikes in the first round at RFA 37. More important than who he beat may have been who he did it in front of. UFC President Dana White was on hand to film an episode of his “Lookin’ for a Fight” Web series and Lopez (8-0) had a tall order to stand out at an event that featured six main card finishes. Lopez was able to stand out, however, by crushing Finn’s nose with a big elbow and driving down punches on the ground to force the tap at the 3:15 mark of Round 1. He told MMAjunkie Radio he had a chance to speak with White after the bout and seemed to have done a good job of catching the UFC boss’ eye. “Afterward, I got to speak with him for a little while,” Lopez said.

Devin Clark It’s the first time Devin Clark has fought for a title, and he’s so excited he can’t sit still when he talks about it. “Right now, I’m shaking just thinking about it,” Clark told MMAjunkie Radio. “I live in that moment, thinking about that victory, and even just being there – staying in the moment, doing what you’re supposed to do.” On April 15, the undefeated fighter from Sioux Falls, S.D., headlines RFA 37 at Sanford Pentagon in his hometown.
