Carlton Minus will still have the chance to compete Saturday. Rick Glenn , who’s been forced out of UFC Fight Night 183 for undisclosed reasons, will be replaced by Christos Giagos , who will step in on short notice against Minus (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC). Two people with knowledge of the situation informed MMA Junkie of the new booking Thursday, but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an announcement. The booking was first reported by BJPenn.com . UFC Fight Night 183 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The card streams on ESPN+.

A little more than two years after he last fought in the UFC, Rick Glenn will make the walk to the cage in December. At an event expected to take place Dec. 19 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Glenn (21-6-1 MMA, 3-3 UFC) will move up to lightweight to take on promotional sophomore Carlton Minus , who will be dropping down from welterweight. Multiple people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking, but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Glenn, 31, has won three of his most recent five outings. After beating Dennis Bermudez by split decision in July 2018, Glenn dropped a unanimous decision to Kevin Aguilar in November 2018

LAS VEGAS – Kevin Aguilar (16-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) made an impression in his UFC debut, going toe-to-toe with Rick Glenn (21-6 MMA, 3-3 UFC) over the course of a memorable 15 minutes. The featherweight bout (though Glenn missed weight ) closed out the preliminary card of today’s TUF 28 Finale event at Pearl Theatre at The Palms in Las Vegas.

Dennis Bermudez is not happy after suffering yet another split-decision loss. Bermudez found himself on the wrong end of a split call for the third consecutive time (and fourth straight loss overall) when he fell to Rick Glenn on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 133. Of the 16 media outlets to score the fight on MMADecisions.com , 10 had it in Bermudez’s favor.
