Ovince Saint Preux , Song Yadong , Shane Young and Rolando Dy each earned $50,000 fight-night bonuses at today’s UFC Fight Night 132 event. Saint Preux and Yadong won “Performance of the Night” awards, and Young and Dy took home “Fight of the Night” honors. UFC officials announced the winners following the event.

Shane Young took more than a few hard punches to achieve his objective of wearing down Rolando Dy . Dy (9-7 MMA, 1-3 UFC) ran out of energy trying to stop Young (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and didn’t see the elbow that dropped him in the second round. The featherweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 132 event at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The entire card streamed on UFC Fight Pass. The referee called off the bout at the 4:40 mark of the second frame as Dy went to his knees amid a flurry of punches from Young, who refused to let his opponent off the hook over nine-plus minutes of exciting action.

A featherweight contest between the Philippines’ Rolando Dy (9-6-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) and New Zealand’s Shane Young (11-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is the 12th and final addition to the UFC’s upcoming return to Singapore. UFC officials recently announced the contest for UFC Fight Night 132, which takes place June 23 at Singapore Indoor Stadium and streams live on UFC Fight Pass. Donald Cerrone faces Leon Edwards in the nights’ main event. Dy dropped his first two fights for the UFC, unable to continue after suffering an eye injury against Alex Caceres at UFC Fight Night 111 and dropping a decision to Teruto Ishihara at UFC Fight Night 117. However, “The Incredible” was able to register his first UFC win this past November, picking up a decision win over Buren Wuliji at UFC Fight Night 122 in China. Young made his promotional debut in November, stepping in on short notice to face Alexander Volkanovski at UFC Fight Night 121 and ultimately suffering a loss via decision, snapping a five-fight winning streak.

After opening his UFC career with back-to-back losses, Dy (9-6-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) said he was released from the organization. Teruto Ishihara started quickly, but then had to survive a fairly rough final 10 minutes – including a firecracker of a kick to the mommy-daddy parts. Ishihara (10-4-2 MMA, 3-2-1 UFC) took a unanimous decision against Rolando Dy (8-6-1 MMA, 0-2 UFC), aided by a point deduction for Dy in the third round after a brutal low blow following a previous warning to keep his leg strikes up. Ishihara won with scores of 28-27, 28-27, 29-27. The low blow point deduction wound up costing Dy what would have been a majority draw instead of a decision loss
