Since his Bellator departure, former UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson has remained largely out of the spotlight. Not having competed since August 2020, Nelson (23-19) has put his feelers out as to what his next move will be. In a recent interview with The Schmo , Nelson revealed he’s engaged in discussions with both Bellator president Scott Coker and Triller CEO Ryan Kavanaugh about his next fight. In Bellator, a promotion Nelson parted ways with in late 2020 , he would like to fight legendary all-time great heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko (40-6 MMA, 4-2 BMMA)

After his victory, Moldavsky acknowledged that it wasn’t the most entertaining battle. The main event sees two-division champion Ryan Bader put his light heavyweight title on the line against Russia’s Vadim Nemkov , while former long-reigning women’s featherweight champion Julia Budd returns to action against Jessy Miele looking to bounce back after her loss to Cris Cyborg earlier this year. Also set for action is undefeated welterweight contender Yaroslav Amosov , who has been tipped as one of Bellator’s stars of the future. He will look to position himself for a shot at the 170-pound title by claiming victory against Mark Lemminger .
