Sam Creasey left no doubt about who’s the best flyweight in Cage Warriors. In the promotion’s tournament final, Creasey and Luke Shanks were involved in an entertaining scrap Saturday at Cage Warriors 129 from York Hall in London. Both men found success landing shots through two rounds and into the third. Then Shanks decided to shoot for a takedown, which turned out to be his downfall as Creasey immediately transitioned into a guillotine choke

‘Cage Warriors 106: Night of Champions’ receives sixth title fight

Cage Warriors’ upcoming “Night of Champions” event now has six title fights set for the evening’s main card. Promotion officials today announced that top flyweight contenders Sam Creasey (11-2) and Samir Faiddine (10-5) will face off for the promotion’s vacant 125-pound title at Cage Warriors 106, which takes place June 29 at Eventim Apollo in London. The night’s main card, including all six title fights streams live on UFC Fight Pass. Creasey and Faiddine were initially linked together for a 2017 contest, though the bout never came to fruition. Since then, Creasey challenged for the Cage Warriors flyweight title but came up short in a barnburner with Nathan Greyson. “The Hobbit” has since rebounded with a pair of victories in the promotion

Pimblett (14-3), who is the organization’s current featherweight champion, was unable to add the lightweight belt to his collection. Bak (11-1) outworked his opponent over the course of five rounds to take a unanimous decision victory in the event headliner, which took place at Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, and streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
