Cage Warriors Fighting Championship continues to bolster its roster with the signings of six more fighters to exclusive deals. Promotion officials recently announced new contracts for Arnold Allen , Sean Carter , Fabio Ferrari , Danny Lawson , Paddy Pimblett and Saul Rogers . The deals will have the fighters competing exclusively for Cage Warriors for their next five fights. “I’m very happy with this latest batch of signings,” Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan stated. “They’re six guys with excellent records and their best years still ahead of them. I look forward to seeing them develop with Cage Warriors.” Allen (4-0), a 19-year-old featherweight, stayed unbeaten for his young career at Cage Warriors 56 in July when he submitted Andy Green in the first round

Kurt Pelligrino Returns to Bellator Following Two-Year Layoff From Fighting

Bellator MMA will return to Atlantic City’s Revel on Friday, Nov. 15, live on Spike TV, as Point Pleasant’s own Kurt “Batman” Pellegrino will return after nearly two years away from the cage, as he takes on Saul “The Spider” Almeida in a lightweight affair, while fan favorite and Ricardo Almeida disciple Tom DeBlass will also return to the Bellator cage. The night will also feature the Bellator Tournament Finals in the Welterweight and Featherweight divisions, as well as stacked preliminary card. “I’ve been in retirement for the last two years, but I’ve been in the gym every day since and the competitive fire has still been burning inside of me,” Pellegrino said. “Every morning I wake up I realize I had the same dream as the night before, and it’s to go out the way I want. With Bellator back in Atlantic City, this is my opportunity to end my nightmare and go out the way I want, the way I deserve.” Tickets go on sale Friday, July 26th at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000. Three hometown fighters booked for July’s Cage Warriors 57 in Liverpool

Cage Warriors’ return to Liverpool, England, has started to take shape with the card’s first five fights. On the main card of Cage Warriors 57, Danny Roberts (8-1) meets Mauro Chimento (15-10) at welterweight; Lee Chadwick (16-10-1) takes on Mats Nilsson (10-2-1) at middleweight; and at featherweight, Chris Fishgold (8-0) faces Marcin Wrzosek (6-1). The prelims will feature Mohsen Bahari (5-0) vs. Matt Inman (10-5) in a welterweight bout, plus Saul Rogers (6-1) vs. Lew Long (7-2) at lightweight. Cage Warriors officials on Monday announced the five fights. Cage Warriors 57 takes place July 20 at Echo Arena in Liverpool, which will host its first show with the promotion since “Cage Warriors 21: Enter the Wolfslair” in 2006
