Sonnen’s flare for phonetics, however, landed him in hot water following a recent appearance on Fox Sports Live. UFC president Dana White was a guest on Wednesday night’s edition of Fox Sports Live, where he unveiled news of Lyoto Machida’s drop to middleweight and received another plea from Chael Sonnen for a fight with Wanderlei Silva . White also, however, defended his friend, Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod is a Major League Baseball player for the New York Yankees, but is currently garnering attention for his alleged role in the Biogenesis performance enhancing drug scandal and subsequent 211-game suspension. Setanta Sports will air 30 live UFC events in Ireland starting Aug. 1

The UFC will return to Setanta Sports in Ireland, officials on Monday announced. This past month, the UFC announced a deal with a new U.K. and Irish television partner, BT Sport, which will launch Aug. 1 once the UFC’s current deal with ESPN UK runs out. Monday’s announcement includes two new BT Sport channels and ESPN added to the Setanta Sports package in Ireland, which means satellite subscribers to the pack will have access to 30 live UFC events.
