She wanted to be sure she was ready for the difficult boot camp. It was 2006, and Brents was fresh off successful high school sports careers, so she knew how to work out. But her brother had a different idea. Bobby Brents was on his way to an MMA career (he’s a 14-4 heavyweight), so he knew how much MMA training could serve as a workout. “I did it just to stay in shape,” Tamikka Brents told MMAjunkie
