The official weigh-ins for Bellator Champions Series: Paris are in the books, and all but one fighter hit their marks. In the main event, Patchy Mix (19-1) defends his bantamweight title in a rematch against Magomed Magomedov (20-3). Both fighters made championship weight at 135 pounds.

Bellator will make its second trip to France on Friday with Bellator 280 , which takes place at Accor Arena in Paris with a main card that airs on Showtime following prelims that stream on MMA Junkie. Ryan Bader (29-7 MMA, 7-2 BMMA) will attempt to keep hold of his heavyweight championship in the main event, but he’ll have to win in enemy territory to do it. France’s own Cheick Kongo (31-11-2 MMA, 13-3 BMMA) will look to achieve the crowning moment of his career when he challenges Bader for gold in a rematch of a controversial no contest from Bellator 226 in September 2019. Ostarine continues to pop up in supplements taken by UFC fighters. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency on Tuesday announced a settlement with UFC lightweight Thibault Gouti , who accepted a six-month suspension when a positive drug test was traced back to the banned selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM). Gouti also popped positive for four other substances: LGD-4033, its metabolite di-hydroxy-LGD-4033 and GW1516 metabolites GW1516 sulfoxide and GW1516 sulfone, according to a statement released by USADA . LGD-4033 and ostarine are classified as non-specified substances in the class of anabolic agents, while GW1516 is a non-specified substance in the category of hormone and metabolic modulators

Misha Cirkunov vs. Patrick Cummins among three bouts added to UFC Fight Night 138 in Moncton

A trio of bouts have been added to October’s UFC Fight Night 138 lineup, including the return of a Canadian light heavyweight contender. UFC officials today announced Misha Cirkunov (13-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) will make his return to action at the event when he takes on Patrick Cummins (10-5 MMA, 6-5 UFC). Another 205-pound bout between Ed Herman (23-13 MMA, 10-10 UFC) and Gian Villante (16-10 MMA, 6-7 UFC) is also set for the card, as well as a lightweight pairing between Thibault Gouti (12-4 MMA, 1-4 UFC) and Nasrat Haqparast (9-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC). UFC Fight Night 138 takes place Oct. 27 at SMG Moncton in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

UFC Fight Night 126 results: Frustrated Sage Northcutt takes decision from Thibault Gouti

Sage Northcutt didn’t seem to be a fan of Thibault Gouti holding on to keep him stifled on the canvas or against the fence, but he pulled out a win regardless. Northcutt (10-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) took a unanimous decision from Gouti (12-4 MMA, 1-4 UFC) thanks to his advantage in the striking department. When Gouti landed takedowns, he did very little with the position but hold on to keep Northcutt’s offense stifled, and that wasn’t enough to impress the judges. Northcutt took the win with a trio of 29-28 scores. The welterweight bout opened up the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 126 event at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. It aired on FS1 following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass

Thibault Gouti was one of the rare exceptions, and he made the most of what was almost certainly his last chance. Gouti (12-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) joined the UFC roster in February 2016 with a perfect 11-0 record, only to suffer three consecutive losses.
