Massive favorite Eryk Anders got a massive challenge from Tim Williams , but late in the fight landed a highlight-reel kick to close the deal. Anders (11-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) knocked out Williams (15-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) with a kick to the face that landed just as Williams was getting up off the canvas. A half-second earlier, and the kick would’ve been illegal. Instead, it was a knockout win for Anders with 18 seconds left in the fight.

LINCOLN, Neb. – Tim Williams is over the experience of his “horrible” UFC debut and intends for things to go differently when he steps in the octagon for his second bout Saturday at UFC Fight Night 135. Williams (15-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who meets Eryk Anders (10-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) in a middleweight bout, said he felt perfect going into his debut contest against Oskar Piechota at UFC Fight Night 126 in February. That may have been the problem, though, because the result was a knockout in less than two minutes .

Piechota (11-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) took out Tim Williams (15-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a big TKO in their middleweight fight. He landed a huge right hand to put Williams on the canvas, and a few punches later he had his first UFC finish in less than two minutes of work. After the finish, Williams was plenty wobbly, and though he was up under his own power, he could be seen asking just what happened to cause the fight to be over. Classic knockout, right there.

The UFC’s return to Texas this weekend has one more bout that has made its way to official status. Oskar Piechota (10-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will take on promotional newcomer Tim Williams (15-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in a middleweight fight. Promotion officials formalized the booking today. UFC Fight Night 126 takes place Sunday at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. It airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Spohn said he purposely avoided dangerous situations in the fight so he can be healthy for his semifinal contest. At the next Team Edgar training session, head coach Frankie Edgar talks about his winless start to the season. All the fighters are motivated to turn things around, and with tournament favorite Dhiego Lima fighting Team Penn’s Tim Williams next, there’s a solid chance the tide could finally turn. Team Penn gets a training session in later in the day.

Gracie teaches the fighters ground techniques and Todd Monaghan , who fights later in the episode, is seizing the moment and trying to learn as much as possible before his upcoming bout.
