Bellator officials today announced Vedepo (17-8 MMA, 4-2 BMMA) will meet “King Mo” (13-4 MMA, 5-3 BMMA) at next week’s season-ending Bellator 131 event. Vedepo replaces Tom DeBlass (9-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA), who was recently forced out of the fight with a nasty forehead gash . Bellator 131 takes place Nov.

DeBlass recently took to Twitter and posted a picture of the wound , along with an apology to “King Mo” Lawal . @kingmofh sometimes life throws unexpected things our way. Accidental headbutt did just that two weeks before my fight with @kingMofh this cut is deep and bad. This cut is taking me out of the fight with Mo.

An injury knocked him out, and Lawal was set to meet Marcus Sursa (13-8 MMA, 0-0 BMMA), instead.

Sokoudjou will make his promotional debut next month at Bellator 121, the first event of its 2014 “Summer Series,” against Terry Davinney (10-6 MMA, 1-0 BMMA).
