Rousey faces decorated Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Alexis Davis in what will likely serve as the co-main event on the card. Officials announced the championship fight this past week. Rousey (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) has reigned atop the 135-pound women’s division since she captured the Strikeforce women’s bantamweight title from rival Miesha Tate in March 2012

Noons is riding high after scoring a brutal 30-second knockout of Sam Stout at Wednesday’s TUF Nations Finale event in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, and it’s got him thinking about the near future. The finish marked Noons’ (13-7 MMA, 2-1 UFC) first win via strikes since 2010 and the first time Stout (20-10-1 MMA, 9-9 UFC) had ever been knocked out in 31 professional fights. Noons and Stout originally were scheduled to face off in a lightweight bout, but after crossing paths in Quebec City during fight week, they came to a mutual agreement to stop cutting weight and make it a welterweight contest

The second of four UFC events in the month of April has come to a conclusion as the TUF Nations Finale went down in Quebec City, Canada, on Wednesday night. While the card had a particularly Canadian flare, the headliner saw American Tim Kennedy (18-4 MMA, 3-0 UFC) grind out England’s Michael Bisping (24-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) for five rounds, earning the most notable victory of his career thus far. Along with Kennedy, there were several other key winners on the night, as Patrick Cote (20-8 MMA, 7-8 UFC) proved to be a better fighter and coach than Kyle Noke (20-7-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC), two new “TUF” champions were crowned and one of the featherweight division’s most exciting fighters made a little bit of history.

QUEBEC CITY – UFC President Dana White says the homophobic slurs posted on light heavyweight champion Jon Jones ’ Instagram account were a result of him being hacked. “He got hacked,” White told MMAjunkie. “Originally when I found out he was being hacked, I was like, ‘What, are we all going to say stupid stuff and then say we got hacked?’ But if you look at his timeline, first of all he rarely posts anything or responds with comments on Instagram – and he got hacked.” The world of social media blew up on Tuesday when a Swedish MMA fan posted screenshots with comments from Jones ’ official Instagram account on several photos. Essentially all of the comments were homophobic in nature, which caused uproar within the MMA community.
