The 10 largest UFC attendances in history

There have been over 650 events in UFC history since its debut in 1993. Of those events, the 10 atop the all-time attendance records provided memorable moments amplified by unique environments with palpable energy. The top 10 largest attendances in UFC history feature six countries: Canada (4), Australia (2), Russia (1), Sweden (1), Mexico (1), and Brazil (1). Eight of the events were pay-per-views, while two of the three most recent were UFC Fight Nights. Five of those events hit the 30,000 attendee mark.

Former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey opened up about her UFC 193 knockout loss to Holly Holm in an interview with Valeria Lipovetsky. Rousey blamed the loss on having a concussion, a difficult weight cut, and a bad mouth guard. “My mouth guard was bad. I literally came into that fight concussed from slipping down some stairs already after all these years of concussions,” Rousey said. ”Then, I had an absolutely terrible weight cut, which means you have less fluid in your brain to protect it.” On Wednesday, at the UFC 300 Media Day, Holm reacted to Rousey’s comments

In an interview with YouTuber Valeria Lipovetsky released Tuesday, Rousey, 37, admitted she was concussed just before she suffered a devastating head-kick knockout against Holly Holm in the second round of their 2015 women’s bantamweight title fight in front of more than 56,000 fans at then-Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
