Of those events, the 10 atop the all-time attendance records provided memorable moments amplified by unique environments with palpable energy. The top 10 largest attendances in UFC history feature six countries: Canada (4), Australia (2), Russia (1), Sweden (1), Mexico (1), and Brazil (1). Eight of the events were pay-per-views, while two of the three most recent were UFC Fight Nights. Five of those events hit the 30,000 attendee mark.

Miocic (15-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) caught Fabricio Werdum (20-6-1 MMA, 8-3 UFC) with a straight right to the jaw to silence a crowd of 45,000 Brazilians expecting a hometown beatdown in Curitiba, Brazil, which hosted the pay-per-view event. It’s obviously a career-high accomplishment, but Miocic still has the self-deprecating humor of a guy at the firehouse, where he works as a paramedic when not training at the gym
