Henry Cejudo may boast a lot of gold, but he surprisingly doesn’t include himself in his personal MMA Mount Rushmore. Cejudo (16-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC), the former UFC bantamweight and flyweight champion and Olympic wrestling gold medalist, is always happy to flaunt his accolades, but when speaking of MMA’s most accomplished fighters, he didn’t hesitate to include a former foe. “I’m not even part of the GOAT mountain to be quite honest with you, Cejudo said in an interview with Helen Yee .

The California State Athletic Commission has indefinitely suspended Johnson (27-3-1 MMA, 15-2-1 UFC), meaning he’ll need a doctor to clear him before the commission takes his name off an ABC database that tracks medical suspensions. Johnson originally was given a mandatory minimum suspension of seven days. But CSAC executive director Andy Foster today told MMAjunkie Johnson will be indefinitely suspended. Johnson, 32, said he injured his lateral collateral ligament (LCL) after a decision loss to Henry Cejudo (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) earlier this month at UFC 227, which took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles

The commission on Wednesday recommended the UFC fighters move up a division after they came in over 10 percent of their contracted weight limit for a fight-day weight check for UFC 227, CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster told MMAjunkie. Perez, a flyweight, officially weighed in at 126 pounds and went up to 146.5 pounds on fight day, an increase of 16.3 percent. Johns, a bantamweight, was 135.2 pounds on the official scale and went up to 158 pounds for a 16.2 percent gain

Demetrious Johnson may have lost his UFC flyweight title at UFC 227, but one of the injuries he sustained in his fight with Henry Cejudo is apparently not as bad as originally thought. Johnson (27-3-1 MMA, 15-2-1 UFC) said following his split-decision defeat to Cejudo (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) at UFC 227, which took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, that he feared he’d suffered a broken foot in the contest. Apparently that’s not the case, after all.
