The “TUF 10” winner headlined UFC Fight Night 39 in Abu Dhabi in April 2014 against MMA legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira , and he left the desert with another highlight-reel performance for his collection. Nelson won his sixth UFC fight-night bonus when he flattened Nogueira in the first round.

UFC Fight Night 39 drug tests come back clean

Drug tests from UFC Fight Night 39 have come back negative for performance-enhancers and drugs of abuse. UFC officials today told MMAjunkie that a total of 22 tests were issued for the April 11 card, with all 16 fighters tested pre-event and another six post-event. The names of those tested were not immediately released, though it is certain main-event competitors Roy Nelson and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira were among them. UFC Fight Night 39 took place at du Arena in Abu Dhabi and streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
