Drug tests from UFC Fight Night 42 have come back negative for performance-enhancers and drugs of abuse. UFC officials today told MMAjunkie that all tests issued at the June 7 card in Albuquerque, N.M., came back without any issues. UFC Fight Night 42 took place at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque. The main card aired on FOX Sports 1 after prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The event was overseen by the New Mexico Athletic Commission.

Following a Wednesday meeting in Albuquerque, the New Mexico State Athletic Commission suspended UFC Fight Night 42 fighter Jason High one year for pushing referee Kevin Mulhall. The commission also upheld a controversial split-decision victory that Diego Sanchez (25-7 MMA, 14-7 UFC) picked up over Ross Pearson (15-7 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in the June 7 co-headliner, which took place at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque. High (18-5 MMA, 2-3 UFC) shoved the ref after the official halted the action in the second round, awarding fellow lightweight Rafael dos Anjos (21-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) the TKO win. High, who was struck with some illegal blows to the back of the head during the fight-ending sequence, sprung to his feet for the brief confrontation with the official. High ultimately apologized for the shove, but days later, the UFC released the fighter .

Here’s how Bryan Caraway ’s Wikipedia page describes his latest win over Erik Perez , which came this past Saturday at UFC Fight Night 42: “After controlling the majority of the bout with his grappling, Caraway won the fight via rear-naked choke submission in the second round. Preceeding the finish, the in ring referee missed Caraway’s brief fish-hook of Perez, a move deemed illegal by the unified rules of MMA.” According to an article on one site, it was a “questionable illegal maneuver he used to assist in choking out his opponent.” Never mind that the fishhook happened midway through the first round of the FOX Sports 1-televised main-card bout, while the choke came in the second. It’s this kind of thing that’s been bothering Robert Follis, Caraway’s coach at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. He doesn’t deny that the fishhook happened, or that it was illegal
