Justin Rader via punches at Legacy FC 41 It took 32 seconds for 19-year-old Ricardo Ramos (7-0) to take out Justin Rader (3-1). The bantamweight bout saw barely any action before Ramos landed an uppercut, a knee and then followed Rader to the ground , throwing a barrage of strikes that got the referee to jump in and call a halt to the bout.

Ray Longo and Al Iaquinta at UFC Fight Night 63 Prior to UFC Fight Night 63, longtime MMA judge Doug Crosby signed a statement saying he would notify the Virginia athletic commission of any conflicts of interest with those participating in the event. The conflicts included those with fighters, bouts, training facilities, cornermen, fighters, managers or promoters, according to the document, obtained Wednesday by MMAjunkie.

Douglas Crosby on lack of MMA judging’s accountability: ‘No way to make money at it’

Fighters sympathize with Al Iaquinta’s rage, though they say MMA needs to do better

After winning a split decision over Jorge Masvidal (28-9 MMA, 5-2 UFC) on the event’s FOX Sports 1-televised main card, Iaquinta (12-3-1 MMA, 7-2 UFC) found himself booed at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va.

Clay Guida Main-card winner Clay Guida ($100,000) and main-event victor Chad Mendes ($96,000) were the top earners this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 63. MMAjunkie today obtained the list of disclosed paydays from the Virginia Boxing, MMA and Wrestling Advisory Board via the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. UFC Fight Night 63 took place this past Saturday, April, 4 at Fairfax, Va.’s Patriot Center and aired on FOX Sports 1. The total disclosed payroll for the event was $691,000. UFC Fight Night 63 medical suspensions: Dustin Poirier receives longest term

Dustin Poirier Just four fighters from this past weekend’s UFC Fight Night 63 were issued medical suspensions following the event. MMAjunkie today obtained the list of suspensions from the Virginia Boxing, MMA and Wrestling Advisory Board, which oversaw this past Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 63 event at Patriot Center in Fairfax. Thankfully, no one from the FOX Sports 1-televised card received a lengthy term. In fact, Dustin Poirier , who made a triumphant return to the lightweight division with a first-round thrashing of Diego Ferreira (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC), received the longest term. The commission suspended him for 60 days, though officials didn’t clarify the nature of the injuries that prompted the suspensions
