Konstantin Erokhin positive for steroids following December’s TUF 22 Finale

Drug test results from a trio of December events in Las Vegas are back, and one former UFC fighter came up positive for banned substances. Heavyweight Konstantin Erokhin , who lost a decision to onetime title challenger Gabriel Gonzaga at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale, tested positive for the steroid drostanolone and is temporarily suspended pending a formal hearing into the matter. Erokhin’s case will be heard by the Nevada State Athletic Commission during its Tuesday meeting in Las Vegas.

Following the Dec. 10 event, UFC President Dana White said the 26-year-old Serra-Longo Fight Team member wouldn’t be subject to the exclusive negotiation period

MMAjunkie today requested and obtained the official disclosed paydays from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. UFC Fight Night 80 took place this past Thursday, Dec. 10, at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The entire event streamed on UFC Fight Pass. In the headliner, Namajunas (4-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) dominated fellow strawweight Paige VanZant (6-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), who earned $40,000, en route to a fifth-round submission victory .

Cody Pfister not planning to be Northcutt’s sacrificial lamb at UFC Fight Night 80
