Following his UFC 300 win over Jim Miller , Bobby Green used his time on the microphone to call out Paddy Pimblett . Pimblett responded accepting the challenge, and UFC matchmakers booked the fight. The two clash on the UFC 304 main card on July 27 in Manchester, England. Green (32–15–1, 1 NC) will enter the bout ranked fifteenth in the 155-pound rankings

Tom Aspinall mocks Ciryl Gane for fight offer rejection

Tom Aspinall isn’t in the fight business to make friends and that has been on full display in recent months. The Brit has been exchanging some heated words with several fighters and Ciryl Gane is one of the latest to be added to the list. Once news surfaced suggesting Gane had turned down a chance to fight for UFC interim gold, Tom Aspinall immediately began mocking his fellow heavyweight contender.

With heavyweight champion Jon Jones scheduled to face former two-time titleholder Stipe Miocic when he returns from injury, the UFC heavyweight division is in limbo. In Jones’ absence, the fight promotion crowned an interim heavyweight champion and now he will defend the interim belt at UFC 304 on July 27 in Manchester, England. Manchester’s own Tom Aspinall captured the interim title by knocking out Sergei Pavlovich in November and will put the interim belt on the line in a rematch against fourth-ranked Curtis Blaydes . If Aspinall defeated Blaydes, he plans on sitting out and waiting for a unification match against the winner of the the Jones and Miocic title fight. He and Blaydes met for the first time in July 2022. Fifteen seconds into the bout Aspinall fell to the canvas holding his knee

Muhammad Mokaev successfully continued his unbeaten run in the sport when he edged out a hard-fought victory over UFC veteran Alex Perez. Grinding out a win on the judges’ scorecards will be a valuable experience for the 23-year-old, but not everybody was impressed by his performance. Despite dominating the first round, it seemed as if Mokaev’s cardio wasn’t holding up, but the UK native out-worked his opponent to get his hands raised by unanimous decision. This was his sixth win inside the octagon and he now believes he’s ready for a shot at gold.
