The tension between Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez has not boiled down. After their main event contest at this past Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 17 in Mexico City ended in a 15-second no contest due to an accidental eye poke by Rodriguez, the two have continued going back and forth. Stephens was rendered unable to continue but fortunately did not suffer any major injury. He deemed it as a scratch to his eye, causing a bruise, and is confident that he’ll be cleared sooner rather than later. And he wants to run it back
