Page, who moved up from welterweight to the middleweight division to take the fight, gave Magomedov problems with his speed, agility, and overall elusiveness. Magomedov did not have an answer for Page’s style and movement. In the end, Page easily won the fight. Magomedov released a statement via social media after the loss revealing that he entered the bout with ‘a nightmarish health condition.’ “The pirate sails into the harbor, but I will return,” Magomedov wrote on social media. “I knew all the risks when stepping in with such a nightmarish health condition and preparation.
