Filed under: Featured Videos , News , Videos At 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, Victory FC heavyweight champ Daniel Gallemore is more than deserving of the moniker of “Big Kansas.” And while Gallemore is largely known as a knockout artist, he’s got the ability to end the fight with his grappling as well, as he demonstrated at Victory FC 50, picking up the promotion’s heavyweight title with a first-round submission win over “The Ultimate Fighter 10” cast member Abe Wagner. On Friday, Gallemore (6-3) defends his title against Daniel James (6-2-1) in the main event of Victory FC 57 at Kansas Expocentre in Topeka, Kansas. The full card streams live on UFC Fight Pass. Filed under: News , Videos Daniel Gallemore is a heavyweight champion after dominating Abe Wagner at Victory FC 50. Gallemore (5-3) scored a guillotine choke submission moments after dropping Wagner (10-8), bringing the title bout to an end at the 1:37 mark of Round 1. The event took place at Kansas Expo Center in Topeka, Kan., and streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. In addition to Gallemore’s heavyweight title win, Alexandre Pimentel (15-1) captured the featherweight belt with a fourth-round armbar submission of Jarred Mercado (14-4). The submission was the ninth of Pimentel’s career and the Brazilian is now riding a three-fight winning streak.

Yuri Villefort ’s career trajectory has gone from undefeated prospect to unable to win a fight. He’s back on an upward swing of late, though, and he wants to keep it that way. Villefort (8-5) experienced an ugly five-fight losing skid from 2012-2015, three of which came under the UFC and Strikeforce banners.
