Yan Xiaonan used her speed and her reach to pick apart Viviane Pereira from a safe distance over the course of three rounds, and in the end the judges rewarded her for it. Xiaonan (9-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) earned the unanimous decision victory with scores of 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27, outpointing Pereira (13-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) on all three scorecards to get the win. The women’s strawweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 132 event at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The entire card streamed on UFC Fight Pass. NORFOLK, Va. – Tatiana Suarez isn’t looking to rush into a UFC title shot after returning from a long layoff with a victory over Viviane Pereira on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 120. Still young in her career, Suarez (5-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) labeled new UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas as an inspiration. Following her dominant unanimous decision win over Pereira (13-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), Suarez said Namajunas (7-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) had a long road of ups and downs before claiming the belt from Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and while she’s not exactly planning to have downs, she wants to enjoy the journey

At long last, the Season 23 winner of “The Ultimate Fighter” will return to the octagon this fall. “TUF 23” winner Tatiana Suarez (4-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will take on Brazil’s Viviane Pereira (13-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in a fight between unbeaten strawweights at UFC Fight Night 120. The booking first was reported by Brazilian news outlet Combate.com , though it has not yet been formally announced by the UFC.

RIO DA JANEIRO – After a short-notice UFC debut, Viviane Pereira got to build a full camp for her second UFC outing. Still, there were some bumps along the way. Pereira first entered the octagon at last December’s UFC 206, when she upset former title challenger Valerie Letourneau to earn a split-decision win . She had only 20 days to prepare. For Saturday’s UFC 212, Pereira (13-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) actually got to build a full camp around Jamie Moyle (4-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC). And this time the victory on the scorecards looked a lot more dominant.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Viviane Pereira picked Jamie Moyle apart with relative ease over the course of three rounds, pulling further away as the fight wore on. The result was a clear victory for Pereira (13-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), who never got close to finishing Moyle (4-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) but faced few threats as she cruised to a unanimous-decision win. The strawweight bout was part of today’s UFC 212 preliminary card at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass prior to additional prelims on FS1 and the pay-per-view main card. Related UFC 212 play-by-play and live results Pereira’s victory was built on the strength of her striking game as she claimed the center of the cage early on and peppered Moyle with strikes every time she tried to close the distance or force Pereira toward the fence. The fight looked relatively close early on but only got less so as the fight wore on.
