So damn, that sucked. Two losses in a row for Team Australia. It’s definitely not the way we wanted to start as a team, and from hearing and seeing the Canadian teams reviews and thoughts of us for the first times, they were already writing us off from the start. And you could definitely feel their cockiness vibe growing around the house, almost as if to say everything they were thinking was true

Well, I won and it’s still early, so asked myself, “What would Lil Wayne do? He’d pop bottles, baby!” So I popped a bottle. Red wine, of course, because it’s much better for you than champagne and I still got another fight, right? It’s a little weird in the house because were celebrating the Aussies’ defeat right in front of them. I wasn’t worried about it too much though. I’m doing me, no disrespect.

At the next Team Canada training session, Coach Patrick Cote brings in retired Strikeforce veteran Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro to assist the team and share valuable training techniques. Team Canada’s Elias Theodorou , who meets Team Australia’s Zein Saliba in the first middleweight quarterfinal later in the episode, talks about his path to MMA and how he has climbed the ranks to be Canada’s best 185-pound fighter not signed to the UFC.
