SALT LAKE CITY – For a man who said he’d welcome a takedown from Dennis Bermudez , Rony Jason didn’t like it quite so much in practice as in theory. In a three-round battle that got bloody early, Bermudez (16-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) outwrestled Jason (14-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and used vicious elbows on the mat to open him up, eventually resulting in a unanimous decision victory after a mostly one-sided fight. The featherweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 92 event at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.
