Jones (22-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC) was handed a potential USADA anti-doping violation on Wednesday and was removed from his title unification rematch with Cormier (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) as a result. “DC,” the current UFC light heavyweight titleholder, was on hand at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena after UFC President Dana White and UFC Vice President of Athlete Health Jeff Novitzky revealed the news. To state Cormier was in a somber state would be putting it lightly.
