That’s certainly how the weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 59 felt at Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, where hundreds of fans from Ireland took over the venue in support of not just their country’s biggest sports star, Conor McGregor , but his teammates Cathal Pendred and Patrick Holohan, as well. Before the official weigh-in event, UFC featherweight champion  Jose Aldo took part in a Q&A with the crowd, which was playfully hostile toward the champ considering he’s likely to defend his title next against McGregor, should the Irishman beat Dennis Siver in Sunday’s main event.
