An injury has knocked a middleweight fight from Friday’s Bellator 218 card, and a heavyweight bout has taken its place. Mike Shipman (13-1 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) is out of his 185-pound bout against Hracho Darpinyan (17-8-2 MMA, 0-0-1 BMMA), a Bellator official today told MMA Junkie. That fight has been scratched from the lineup. Moving up from the prelims to the four-fight main card is a heavyweight bout between Jeremy Hardy (6-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) and Rudy Schaffroth (6-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA). Bellator 218 takes place Friday at WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Okla. The main card airs on Paramount and streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie.
