After one knockout victory in the Bellator cage, Djamil Chan is being given a big opportunity in front of a bigger audience. Chan (12-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) made his Bellator debut with a first-round knockout of Richard Patishnock (6-4 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) on the preliminary card of Bellator 153. Now, he meets Derek Campos (16-6 MMA, 5-4 BMMA) on the Spike-televised main card of tonight’s Bellator 161 event. It takes place at H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas. Making Chan’s impressive pro record more notable is the fact the Dutch fighter has overcome autism.
