In a Spike-televised bout at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., Freire (25-4 MMA, 13-4 BMMA), a longtime featherweight who moved up to lightweight for the high-profile bout, was beginning to find his range against former UFC champion Benson Henderson (24-6 MMA, 1-1 BMMA).
