LAS VEGAS – Jose Aldo is already eagerly anticipating his rematch with Conor McGregor after capturing the interim UFC featherweight championship on Saturday at UFC 200. Aldo (26-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) claimed the interim crown with a unanimous decision victory over Frankie Edgar (20-5-1 MMA, 14-5-1 UFC) at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, moving him one step closer to the rematch with McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) he’s desired since dropping the 145-pound belt to “The Notorious” via 13-second knockout at UFC 194 in December . “Scarface” looked as good as ever against Edgar, winning decisively on all three judges’ scorecards. McGregor was sitting cageside for the contest, and Aldo sent him a message during his post-fight interview.
