MELBOURNE, Australia – After blasting his way into the UFC with a memorable display on Dana White’s Contender Series, Maki Pitolo plans on delivering a similarly impressive performance in his UFC debut. Pitolo (12-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) takes on Australian Callan Potter (17-8 MMA, 0-1 UFC) on the preliminary card of UFC 243, which takes place Saturday (Sunday locally) at Marvel Stadium, and the man known as “Coconut Bombz” says his long road to the octagon will make his first taste of life in the UFC that much sweeter on fight night.
