De La Torre’s (14-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) featherweight win over Yui Chul Nam (18-6-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) on the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night 79 was one of five split decisions at the event, a UFC record for one card. “I thought I won all the rounds and did the most damage,” De La Torre told MMAjunkie after the fight. “He didn’t really hit me – he was just holding me against the fence for most of the fight. When we let go, I was landing all the punches, so I thought I did my job.” UFC Fight Night 79 took place at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul and was the promotion’s debut in South Korea
