Rashad Evans Plans Autumn UFC Return

If you saw former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans on the UFC on FOX 15 Prelims broadcast on FOX on Saturday night, you might have noticed that his right eye looked a little droopy. Fear not, however, it is nothing serious, “just an eye infection,” said Evans, who also provided an update on his planned return to the Octagon. Evans has been sidelined since his November 2013 bout with Chael Sonnen , struggling with injuries. He has been linked to several fights since that time, but a knee injury had been slow to heal, so he finally had surgery on it in February. At that time, Evans said he expected to be sidelined about six to seven months following the surgery. His comments on Saturday served to confirm his original timeline
