Filed under: News , UFC Veteran MMA referee Herb Dean will oversee Cris Cyborg ’s first title defense as UFC women’s featherweight champion. The Nevada State Athletic Commission today voted unanimously to appoint Dean as the third person in the cage for Cyborg’s (18-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) fight with former bantamweight champ Holly Holm (11-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC), which serves as the headliner for UFC 219. UFC 219 takes place Dec. 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
