A lightweight clash between two promotional staples has been added to Bellator 229. Saad Awad (23-11 MMA, 11-8 BMMA) and Goiti Yamauchi (23-4 MMA, 9-3 BMMA) will square off Oct. 4 at Bellator 229 at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif. The bout is expected to be the co-main event of the evening. The collision will mark 30 promotional bouts for Awad, who has also recently signed a new contract with the promotion.
