Alexander Gustafsson (16-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) proved again why he’s one of the world’s best light heavyweights with a second-round TKO of Jimi Manuwa (14-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in today’s UFC Fight Night 37 headliner. The main event at London’s O2 Arena carried massive significance for “The Mauler,” and he’s now likely to challenge the winner of UFC 172’s title bout between divisional kingpin Jon Jones and challenger Glover Teixeira. Gustafsson didn’t allow the title repercussions to affect his performance, though, and he handily dispatched Manuwa en route to the second-round finish.
