Will Brooks made a successful UFC debut on Friday when he topped Ross Pearson at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Brooks (18-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC), the former Bellator champion who took his first octagon fight on short notice, managed to best the longtime UFC veteran Pearson (19-11 MMA, 11-8 UFC) over three rounds for his ninth consecutive victory in the FOX Sports 1-televised contest.
