Filed under: News , UFC A UFC title changed hands for the seventh time this year when Tyron Woodley bested Robbie Lawler in Saturday’s UFC 201 pay-per-view headliner to capture the welterweight belt. Woodley (15-3 MMA, 6-2 UFC) landed an explosive overhand right early in the first round and finished the fight moments later to end Lawler’s (27-11 MMA, 12-5 UFC) title reign at the 2:12 mark of Round 1. It was the fastest title-fight stoppage in UFC 170-pound history. Although the headliner marked yet another changing of the guard among UFC champions, plenty of other notable feats occurred at the UFC’s sixth and final event of July.
