UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem may have lost his bid for the title, but he still walked away with the biggest disclosed payday of this past Saturday’s UFC 203. Overeem, who was knocked out in the first round by champ Stipe Miocic in the pay-per-view headliner, took home $800,000 for his efforts, while Miocic earned a flat $600,000. MMAjunkie requested and today received the list of disclosed payouts from the Ohio Athletic Commission. There should be little surprise that the event’s next-highest earner was first-time MMA fighter and former professional wrestling champ Phil “CM Punk” Brooks, who took home a cool $500,000 – or $3,731.34 a second – for his submission loss to Mickey Gall at the 2:14 mark of their welterweight fight on the main card
